Ski Time - Methven

I had an awesome stay, thanks to the super helpful staff. The location is fantastic, with amazing views of the snow-capped mountains! Plus, it's just a quick 12-minute walk to the town center, where you can find plenty of eateries. The restaurant on-site served delicious meals, and breakfast offerings like toast and coffee were perfect to kickstart my day!

All in all everything was wonderful, had a FAB stay for a wedding in Methven. The location turned out to be marvellous and incredible, not far from the bar/restaurant, the mountains and Rakaia and Oamaru and Westport. It also was to center of Methven.

Good value place to stay for 4 days. Perfect views of the mountains from a decent size and cheap rooms. Large bed, very pleasant and incredibly welcoming staff members with the standard service from the staff. Wonderful location on the outskirts if the city so close to a pleasant walk along the canal, in the comfortable area. 5 minutes walk to Methven Heliski. Fantastic base for exploring Methven.

The room was cozy, clean, and offered great value for the price. The staff were genuinely friendly, attentive, and provided fantastic recommendations for local activities.

The breakfast selection could really use some more hot options.

It's good value, had a lovely stay for four nights for our ski holidays. We was offered a hot breakfast with good ambiance. The location in a very nice area was unbeatable and nice and there were a supermarket and stores nearby.

The hotel has a great and incredible location, in the Canterbury area. Everyone is wonderful and owner too.

The spacious unit was equipped with a well-stocked kitchen and very comfy beds that made my nights restful. The staff were helpful, and the seamless check-in process set a positive tone for my visit. I especially appreciated the proximity to the hotpools and the great restaurant on-site, where the dinner and breakfast options were delicious. The views of the magnificent mountains from my second-floor room were amazing.

The breakfast spread was amazing, with heaps of yummy options! The lounge area was super cozy too. Just wish the parking signage was clearer, though. 😄

I had a magical time during my 4-night stay! The views from the Beautiful Double or Twin Room with Mountain View were amazing. The dining experience was a highlight, with delicious meals for breakfast and dinner that included local produce and a variety of options for different diets.

compact ensuite, clean facilities, efficient shuttle service

Absolutely no TV in the room!!! With thin walls, could easily hear neighbors talking. Room lighting was inadequate for evening reading!!! A bit more modern décor wouldn't hurt either!!!

Ski time was a cozy spot with a lovely cabin feel. The room was warm and comfortable, perfect for a winter escape. I especially enjoyed the good free breakfast that fueled our skiing adventures. The staff were super nice and helpful. Parking was also easy and hassle-free.

Had a sweet as stay, but the shower curtain couldn't keep up, eh? Breakfast was choice though, heaps of yummy options!

Truly wonderful experience

The staff were super friendly. The breakfast buffet was varied and packed with all the deliciousness I needed for a day on the slopes. Oh, and the cozy guest area with a pool table? Loved it!
